MOVE student Alex Stillman won the 2022 SMART (Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation) program, which is a DoD (Department of Defense) scholarship program for STEM students. The SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program is a combined educational and workforce development opportunity. The fellowship requires the student to work for the sponsoring facility for the same amount of time they were funded. He will be working in the research area of Loads and Dynamics of Helicopters.
